Boys Basketball
Catholic Central High School

With 3 State Championships and two State Runner-ups, CCHS Boys Basketball has a well-documented history of success!

Head Coach: Steve Smith
Email:

7/15/20:  Newly appointed, Coach Smith is no stranger to CCHS Basketball.  He first became affiliated with the CCHS program when T.J. Otzelberger (now head coach at UNLV) was Catholic Central’s coach in 2004.  He went on to serve as assistants for Deacon, Eric Henderson (now head coach at South Dakota State) and Scott. After being on the bench with former Coach, Kyle Scott in the 2016 Division 5 championship game, Smith became an assistant to Mike Serath at Waukesha Catholic Memorial for three seasons.

AD Tom Aldrich:  “I like his approach, his organizational skills and the fact I think he’s just going to be a great teacher for our kids…he brings a lot of great qualities to the program and he’s shown in the past what he can do. We’re just grateful for the chance to work with him again.”

As a CCHS Student, you can be a two-sport athlete if your schedule permits. For more information, contact the Athletics Department, at 262.763.1510 ext. 408 or go the CC Athletics Page for a print-out of the overview.
